Robin Williams was one of the greatest performers of all time - hilarious, heartwarming, shocking, sweet, and truly a genius. This class will look at his early career in San Francisco and Los Angeles during the mid-1970s and his rise to fame on TV. We will focus on his cinema career which includes four Academy Award nominations for films like “The World According to Garp” (1982), “Moscow on the Hudson” (1984), “Good Morning, Vietnam” (1987), “Dead Poets Society” (1989), “Awakenings” (1990), “The Fisher King” (1991), “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993), “The Birdcage” (1996), and “Good Will Hunting” (1997).
